Birds and Blueprints - saturday, April 26, 2025

Come join the Waukesha County Land Conservancy and Tall Pines Conservancy at Ravensholme on the River for an afternoon dedicated to celebrating our local birds and their habitats! This event is the perfect way to celebrate Earth Day and will spotlight the iconic Eastern Bluebird and its incredible recovery from the brink of extinction. Discover more about these fascinating birds, their nesting behaviors, and how you can play a role in supporting their conservation.
This event will include both an indoor presentation on the birds of Wisconsin and an outdoor guided bird-watching hike. You'll have the chance to spot Eastern Bluebirds and other native species along the Fox River, observe bluebird houses in action, and learn how to correctly monitor them while participating in citizen science.

This kit, which can accommodate a variety of bird species, can either be taken home or assembled at Ravensholme. By participating, you'll be helping support the well-being of our local wildlife.
